I haven't posted on xanga since forever.

I'm still alive.

I finished the goddamn PIP, the HSC and highschool is over for me. Received an UAI of 88.4, which seriously surprised me. I got into my first preference course - BA in Organisational Learning and in International Studies at UTS. I started uni about a month ago.

I went to schoolies with my friends and had an amazing time. Also, my family and I went to Japan (again) and it was infinity times better than the first time we went there.

Emma moved to Perth for uni. She's brave - moving across the country.

The grandmother is still infuriating.

And yeah, that's basically a brief summary over the last 8 months of my life.

Dear Personal Interest Project,

I am completely over you. So, please, go ahead and kill yourself.

Sincerely,

Samantha

I'm finally updating.

I'm so tired. I want to go to sleep, but I can't because I have so much work to do...

I should be receiving my report sometime this week. Eh. I know most of my ranks.

I had my history speech yesterday. It went okay, I s'pose. My teacher was marking the speeches, so I had a rare free period. I went to Jess's place because she had a free period as well, and she made me potato waffles for lunch. =)

I have to go out for dinner tonight. If it was just my immediate family, I would gladly go, but my grandmother, aunt, step-uncle and my cousins are going to be there as well. I'm not a big fan of extended family on my Dad's side.

I have no idea what I'm going to do on my birthday - I definitely don't want to be cooped up in my house all day, for sure. I'm going to be 17 in 18 days. It just seemed like yesterday was my 16th birthday. I remember that day very well because I had to go on a fucking Biology excursion! I wouldn't have gone if it wasn't mandatory. It was so boring, cold and surrounded by people who I can't stand.

The HSC timetable was released last week - I have an exam on the first and last day of the examination period. I knew something like this would happen.

- October 19: French
- October 20: English: Paper 1 - Area of Study
- October 23: English: Paper 2 - Modules
- October 31: Maths
- November 2: Modern History
- November 6: Biology
- November 15: Society & Culture

I wish Modern History and Biology were more far apart.

I learnt an Australian slang word today - "chockers". No wonder people think we're retards.

I thought this was hilarious:

Oh God.

The new Sonic Youth album has been leaked.

A part of me wants to click the link, so I can download it, but the other part says that I should wait until it comes out in June.

I don't know what to do.
